Wow! They are almost a week old already! Where does the time go?
Check out my friend's blog to the right, Stacy's Photography. She came to the hospital when they were 8 hours old and took some great first pictures! Scroll down her blog to find the slide show :)

Camcorders...Ugh!

With the new babies joining us any day, I have been trying to clean off the hard drive of my camcorder by downloading our movies onto my computer. Simple, right? Wrong!

I have been working on this for quite a while, and I have been missing out on great filming opportunities in the meantime. I kept hoping my husband would just do it, but he never seemed to have the time ;) He kept telling me to take it in to Best Buy and see if they could help. But, I was stubborn and knew I could do it. Well, months have gone by, and I am still getting nowhere and more frustrated by the second.

So, I took it into Best Buy on Friday with Sean in tow. We patiently waited for our turn, then explained our problem. He guy was able to click a few buttons and away the downloading went! Ugh! Why didn't I listen to Graham earlier?! Now, I have these beautiful movies on my computer to watch at my leisure and a cleaned of camcorder to capture many more magical moments yet to come!

Did I mention that he did it for free? How cool was that?! Thank you Best Buy Man :) Maybe it was the songs Sean and I were singing while we waited...

Easter Week

Monday...was Monday.

Tuesday, was my last day of work for awhile. By orders of my doctors (husband, father, and OB doctor), I decided to be done at Easter Break. I am getting tired and huge, and I really didn't want to have any baby excitement at school ;) So, now I am nesting and trying to get everything done that I can between sit-down breaks.

Wednesday, was my mom's birthday. We were able to hang out with her in the morning, and we celebrated with her in the evening. She is a beautiful woman whom I am proud to call mom. I also squeezed a doctor's appointment in in the afternoon. No changes...can't decided if I am happy about that or not :) My goal is to make it to Friday, so Graham can take his big final...no babies today.

Thursday, Auntie Amy invited Sean over to do the egg hunt with his cousins and daycare friends. What a blast! He really follows her routine well and did a great job counting his eggs. It was fun to see everyone off on their search. We were lucky for the warm weather and great company. We stayed for lunch and some playtime. I had Sean in his sandals for the first time, and I am sorry to say all the running around caused his first blister. Ouch! No babies today.

Friday, Sean got to do an egg hunt with his regular daycare! He is a pro and really had fun with his buddies. But, the best part of the day was when Daddy came home! Hooray! We love this day, and he was able to come home early. We felt really lucky. Braeden even came to spend the night, so the boys rode bikes 'til dusk, ate supper, watched "Planet 51," and crashed. Test taken...no babies.

Saturday, we went out to the farm to visit Grandma Darlene. Oh, how Sean loves to explore and be outside. He climbed hills, rocks, and big tree stumps. He ran and ran and ran. After a great lunch at Grandma's, he took a super nap. Still waiting for babies :)

We are looking forward to the Easter Bunny coming! Need to make sure we go to bed early...Happy Easter everyone!

So Far, So Good!

We have made some progress since my last entry!

Sean has turned the corner and no longer needs medicine for pain! Hooray! One side affect of his surgery is terrible breath for 2 weeks...we are anxiously awaiting for that 2 week mark! Poor kid, he has no idea, thank goodness.

I am off bedrest and back to work! I have hit the 34 week mark, which is a good place to be. Now, if I do go into labor, I can stay here in Mankato :) They are hanging in there nice and strong. They are growing well and consuming even more space! I am short of breath and tired, but can't help feeling elated when they are moving around inside. This will be over soon enough. I love being pregnant, and this could be my last time. I am trying to soak in every single moment. Dreams do come true :)

That being said, I can't wait to know what they are! I can't wait to hold them, snuggle them, change them, dress them, use my new stroller, go shopping... I can't wait for Sean to be a big brother, as he is so excited and will be so helpful. He has already aged so much to me, but they say he will age even more once they are here. I am grateful for all the help, because I know I am going to need my Sean fix. He is the best "big bear hugger" around and can talk his way out of anything :) I can't wait to have my family together again.

Graham is anxiously awaiting my phone call. We really hope things happen when he is in town. We were told this week that if I go into labor while he is still up in Duluth, there is no way he will make it home in time for the delivery. This was shocking to hear, and it makes both of us pretty sad. All we can ask for at this point are two healthy, strong little miracles and a safe drive home for Graham.

Sean...

Well, I think I must have jinxed myself with my post yesterday! It was quite the rough day for him (and mom and dad). How do you get a child to take medicine they hate! I think we all changed outfits 4-5 times today due to medicine being spit back up. Fun times...we have tried everything, and we just don't want him to be in pain. It is amazing how quickly he feels better once we can get the meds into him. So, we are praying for a good night of easy medicine giving/receiving and some peaceful sleeps. Tomorrow WILL be a better day!

I also go back to the doc tomorrow to see how things are going. Hoping things are slowing down and these little miracles can hang in there awhile!

Thanks, Sarah for your picture comment! They are in there, taking up every bit of space I have left! We keep watching my belly grow and wondering how it can!

Have a great night. I am off to give the first dose of two for the sleeping prince. Stinks to have to wake him...
