October Already!

Wow! Where does time go? I love this time of year when the leaves are changing and sweatshirts are necessary for being outside. The air is always fresh and crisp, it does a body good.

Well, our house is well on its way. Graham will be painting within the next week, so we are looking at being in at the end of the month...possibly. We are excited seeing it coming together. Mom and dad have been ever so gracious letting us crash here, and we really appreciate it. Mom has cooked us great meals, and we've all put on a few pounds...it always tastes better when someone else makes it. Needless to say, we have been spoiled!

Sean is growing so strong. When I put him on all fours, he rocks back and forth. I really do think he will be taking off any day now. He has just figured out how to roll his way around the room. It is adorable! But, it is time for baby gates. He is seven months now, and his new pictures are online at www.dinsmorephotography.com. We take him every month, and it is so awesome to see how he is changing. Our photographer is amazing and really seems to catch him at the right moment. We are working on saying "mama" and "dada." He is so playful and talkative, and he truly is a very happy little guy. Oh, how he loves his cousins! He just stares and laughs, and you can just see how much he wants to join in. Soon, little man, soon!

Graham has so much on his plate, and he seems to get everything done and still have family time. He is doing well in school and is applying to Med Schools as we speak. He wasn't happy with his recent MCAT scores, so he will be retaking the test in January. Wish him luck!

School is going good for me. First grade was a huge adjustment and it took awhile to get into my comfort zone. Everyday is better than the next and I am really loving the kids. It is such a huge year of learning, so that is making it really exciting!

Hope all of you are doing well. I will try adding some pics today, too.

We Moved!

Well, August has come and went and the Kings didn't have a second of down time. We sold our home and are in the process of building our next one. It was hard to see that house go. We worked so hard to remodel it and we have a lot of memories there; growing up there and bringing our babe home for the first time. I took a bunch of pictures, and Graham was able to cut out the cement piece that we (the Peterson's) put our hand prints when the pool was put in years ago. We gave it to my dad for his birthday, and it was an emotional day. We all wear our feelings on our shirt sleeves, so needless to say it was a very special gift.

Did I mention we're living at the parents' house? Well, it is going really good. We didn't want to start our new place until our home sold, so we our homeless for a few weeks (8?!). My parents so graciously offered up there place, and we pounced! They are so layed back. We have taken over the basement. We brought a lot of stuff with us and also put a lot of our stuff into storage. I can't believe all the "stuff" I can't live without! We attempted to have a garage sale the weekend before we moved, but that was the weekend it decided to rain 8 inches each day after a summer of drought. Obviously, it was not the weekend to make deals! The Goodwill got a huge donation that Saturday afternoon. We have no luck with sales.

Sean is growing, growing, growing! He is sitting on his own now, and that satisfied him for a few days. Now he wants to move, so I think he'll be crawling really soon. He is so smart and curious. He is very mechanical; he always wants to see how things work. He is using his pointer finger to touch and loves to watch/play with other kids. His cousins are a highlight in his life. His dad is his favorite person. Sean loves to do the "guy" stuff and rough house. I am there when he gets tired and needs a cuddle, which I love. He is a happy little man who fills our hearts with endless love.

Graham and I have both started back at school. I began meeting my new first graders last Thursday and will meet the remainder of them tomorrow. They are so excited to have desks and lockers this year, how sweet it is! Graham is hard core back to studying. His dedication to school and family is amazing.

Well, I sure hope all of you are doing well. I hope to update this more regularly now that we're settled!
