Urgent Care Visit...

While we were waiting for some friends to come to our place to grill out,
Andrew took a digger right into the shelf splitting his forehead completely open!
I will save you the stomach wrenching details, but it was pretty traumatic!
Andrew and I got to make our first "injury" trip to Urgent Care that night, and he was a trooper.  Of course, it was a very busy night there so we had a lot of waiting to do. The nice thing about Shakopee's Urgent Care is that they put you into their ER rooms with TVs, offer you something to drink, brought him puzzles and crayons/paper! So it made the wait tolerable. They numbed it up (took the gel a good 30 minutes to work), cleaned it up, and let me decide stitches or glue...
I choose glue, as we were afraid he would pick at them making it worse. I am just super worried that he is going to re injure it, as he has been acting like a wild man the last few days! Thank goodness children heal quickly! He has forgotten, but it replays in my mind every day! I think I have added few more gray hairs...

Andrew this morning, everything is looking pretty good!
He handed Graham his steri strips this morning when he woke up...gulp!

Once we got home from the hospital (Saturday) and he could finally eat supper at 9pm that night!
Brave little buddy!

Birthday...(in reverse:)...

Isaac loving his ice cream cone and not wanting me to take it ;) He usually eats from the bottom up!
Andrew loving his ice cream cone, too ;)
Sean love the old stand by...butterscotch (orange) dillybar :)
Awww...Andrew can't believe he gets to eat this all himself!
Isaac feels like such a big kid!
We took the birthday boys out for dinner and got ice cream "to go" to celebrate their birthdays. We were all a little caked out from the previous weekend blow out. They loved it! Normally I split something with them, but tonight our big guys got their very own birthday cone! They enjoyed every second of it! Happy 2nd Birthday to my beautiful little guys, Isaac and Andrew!!

Look Who is 2!!

Wow!! I remember being pregnant with my beautiful babies like it were yesterday, and now they are turning 2 years old!! They have grown into 2 very charming and loving little boys. My life changed forever on April 15th in 2010, and I feel so blessed to be the mom of these wonderful little guys...

Isaac ~ You melt our hearts with your incredible hugs and beautiful smile! You are full of energy and move from one thing to another in a moment. Your curiosity and desire for independence makes you brave beyond your years (and mine)! You get nervous around animals and get embarrassed easily. You love to stack blocks, make messes, climb to the highest points, open/shut all our doors, go to the park, wrestling, and spending time with Sean, Andrew, Mommy, and Daddy. Love you little man! You are one special boy!

Andrew ~ Your sparkling eyes and beautiful smile light up a room! When you hold my hand, you make my day. You love gaining your independence and have a real stubborn streak to you ;) You have lots of energy and can sometimes be found running in circles! You love to stack blocks, build with legos, snuggle on the couch, nap time, play with sports balls, read books, wrestle, play at parks, and spending time with Sean, Isaac, Mommy, and Daddy. You are our animal lover and have fallen in-love with Nana's new puppy! Love you little man! You are one special boy!

You both are growing up so fast, and when I look back at your pictures from this year, it brings tears to my eyes...I have said it before and I will say it again...I am so proud of you and so lucky to have you...I will love you forever and ever. Happy Birthday Isaac! Happy Birthday Andrew!

Dear God...Please, Oh, Please, let time slow down...

Birthdays + Easter = Lots and Lots of Fun!

First I have to give a "shout out" to my sister, Amy, for always being so good at taking pictures of everyone for me...needless to say, my hands are a little full and the camera is the thing that gets left on the counter. I really feel bad about it, but Amy comes to the rescue with the cutest pics for me to add to my albums...So, Thank You, Amy!!! (Check out the birthday and Easter pictures on her blog...link is on the right!)

We decided to celebrate our babes birthdays a week early on the Eve of Easter, because we thought it would be easier for everyone else to not have to drive and devote yet another weekend to us ;) Well, it all worked out fine, but I think next year I may wait and do it after their birthday so that we can enjoy one thing at a time! I think I am still on a sugar rush...and I know my boys are ;)

We went with "Dump Trucks" as our theme and had a ball! We made two cakes, Amy made cookies and pops, had fun balloons, and even had some construction projects to do! I can laugh now as I look back at the "projects" but at the time, I was a little stressed out! We always go to Lowe's Grow and Build workshops and enjoy building really cool things, so I had this brillant idea of doing our own "workshop." I bought some kid kits that Lowes sells, gathered a few small hammers, set up a table, and off we went to "build" our kits...not that easy...I pretty much think that the only true builders ended up being the adults...so, I was stuck building when I should have been finishing up dinner...kids were bored and wanted to play...babes were playing in a make-shift sandbox out of my eyesight having a blast and making a huge mess...dinner went well, just a little later then I had planned...did cake and ice cream and presents...our boys were spoiled with love from all. It was a great night that went way too fast. I always wish for everyone to stay so that I can visit with them, but as I am finishing up, everyone starts packing up to leave :( Until next time!

Easter was a blast and we were all spoiled by the bunny once again! It is a super fun holiday, and we all love watching all the kids hunt and search for their eggs, get some cool gifts, and chow on candy! It was also a great day for a BBQ! Brings the smell of summer to the house!

I will be posting pictures soon!~ Just need to get a little more organize and a few extra free minutes! Hope you all had a great holiday weekend, too!
