Meltdown...

Well I can officially say that I have lived through a "Sean Meltdown" in the middle of Target. It happened last Monday afternoon. I met my mom to walk the mall after school, because it is still too cold to go outside to do it, and on our way home from the mall, we swung through Target for a few things. He made it to the back of the store before he decided that he wanted to get out and walk on his own. My hands were full and he isn't one to "hold my hand" or "stay close," it is more fun to run and play "hide and seek" or "chase." Needless to say, I left my cart and I carried my screaming baby out of the store and buckled him into his seat and headed home. Once we were outside, he was fine.

Oh, Sean! And so it begins...

Were you secretly laughing to yourself or did you have smoke coming out of your ears? I only ask because I have felt both ways at different times.

Congrats on handling it "the right way"! I would've given you a proud grin if I had seen you hauling the little screamer out!

Thanks. I think I felt a little of both. He is VERY independent but I don't want to stop taking him out, because I want him to get used to it. Oh, well. We'll see how it goes!
